David Sand

David is the CEO and founder of UWIN IWIN, a full service incentive and loyalty company with offices in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, India and Brazil. He served as the 2013 Global President of SITE (Society for Incentive Travel Executives), a professional association for leaders in the motivational events and incentive industry. Regarded as a pioneer in the field of online incentive point banking and online loyalty, recognition and reward fulfillment, David receives many requests to share his experience and passion at international events. He is a B.Com graudate from Rhodes University with post-graduate studies in labour economics and law from the UNISA School of Business Leadership.

Dr Elling Hamso
Managing Partner of
Event ROI Institute, Norway



Dr Hamso has spent most of his career as a senior executive in the Norwegian oil and gas industry and later as a management consultant. He started an event agency in Norway in 2000 and Event ROI Institute in 2005. He has been Chapter President and a member of the European Council of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and is currently a member of the jury of European Best Event Awards (EuBEA), Eventex International Best Event Awards, Middle East Best Event Awards and four other best event award programmes in different European countries. Conference & Incentive Travel Magazine has ranked him 5th on their list of the 50 most influential people in the UK meetings and events industry and Eventbranche magazine has named him third among the 30 most influential in the meetings and events industry in the Netherlands. He consults and speaks frequently on subjects such as ROI, meeting design and meeting industry trends. Dr Hamso has a B.Sc in Management Sciences and a Ph.D. in procurement strategy from Manchester University.

Huw Tuckett
COO of

Huw joined Uwin Iwin Incentives, a full service incentive house, in 2003 where he managed some of South Africa's largest corporate companies' incentive travel programmes, winning two SITE crystal awards in the process. As Chief Operating Officer now, he looks after Uwin Iwin's rapidly expanding international footprint of offices. Huw has presented to industry professionals about incentive travel in many places around the world and is an active contributor to the local SITE SA chapter, having served on the local board. He has extensive experience of both the inbound and outbound incentive markets, and consults with corporate clients on their incentive strategy. Prior to joining Uwin Iwin, he was an inbound incentives manager for luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent.

Rajeev Kohli
Joint MD of
Creative Travels, India


 
 

Rajeev Kohli was born into the industry and has a passion for travel and showing India to the world. With 20 years of industry experience, he has a Masters in Business from a top American University with specializations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Today as a Joint Managing Director of Creative Travel, one of India's top Destination Management Companies, he focuses on marketing and strategy initiatives. He also has a personal passion for the travel industry and has contributed in making Creative the most globally awarded DMC in Asia. Rajeev also has a strong upbringing in contributing to industry issues and currently is Vice President of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO; India's apex body for the incoming tour operating industry with over 1,500 members). He is also the 2014 Vice President Finance of SITE, the international association for the motivational travel industry (nearly 2,000 members in 90 countries). Rajeev is also a past Vice Chairman of the India Convention Promotion Bureau and past President of the India Chapter of the American Society of Travel Agents. He feels that his upbringing has been one that has taught him to respect people, to always be honest and to be happy with what one has. Rajeev lives in Delhi with his wife and two teenage sons.

Sameer Mutreja
MD of
Scapes Realty, India and Former MD, RAMS Relationship


Sameer was recently tagged as one of the top 2o Experientialists by Impact and is said to have pioneered the thinking behind the term. He began his career in the hospitality sector after graduating from the Institute of Hotel Management. He then moved to Marketing and Events, where he crystallised his concepts of experientialism drawing from his experiences in Hospitality and Events. He created a company Rams Relationships in 1995 which went onto become a leading player in India redefining Incentives, Conferences, and Meetings. Rams also created the first online tool for Incentives, which was successfully running in companies like GENPACT and TATA AIG. RAMS Relationship was acquired by WPP in 2008. Sameer is a Charter member of The Indus Entrepreneur, the prestigious non-profit global network of entrepreneurs and professionals. He also serves on the MICE advisory board of the Starwood Hotels. He is now building 'Luxury Villas' in GOA in the brand name of "Scapes Siolim".
